  2. Click the “Yacht Analytics” tab (first tab)
  3. Select an asset from the asset switcher if not already selected

KPI Summary Cards

The dashboard opens with four top-level KPI cards providing an at-a-glance financial overview:

This MonthCurrent month’s total expenses
Last MonthPrevious month’s total expenses
Trend %Month-over-month change (up or down arrow with percentage)

Category Cards

Below the KPIs, six category cards provide a breakdown of spending by operational area. Each card shows:

  • Amount spent in that category
  • Percentage of total spending
  • Transaction count — number of invoices/transactions
  • Trend arrow — indicating increase or decrease vs. prior period

Fuel

  • Monthly breakdown for that category
  • Top vendors within the category
  • Transaction list with individual amounts
  • Historical comparison charts

Charts & Visualizations

Spending Distribution (Donut Chart)

A donut chart displays the proportional breakdown of spending across all six categories. Hover over any segment to see the exact amount and percentage.

Monthly Trend (Line Chart)

A line chart compares spending month-by-month:

  • Current year line shows this year’s monthly spending
  • Previous year line (when data exists) enables year-over-year comparison
  • Hover over data points for exact monthly totals

Data Sources

Yacht Analytics combines data from two sources into a unified view:

SourceDescription
InvoicesAll invoices associated with the selected yacht asset, categorized by expense type
Imported TransactionsCSV-uploaded transaction data (bank statements, credit card records) imported via the data import feature

Both sources are merged and categorized consistently, so the analytics reflect the complete financial picture regardless of how the data entered the system.

Filters

Customize the dashboard view with the following filters:

FilterOptions
Date RangeCustom start/end dates, or presets (This Month, This Quarter, This Year, Last Year)

Filters apply to all KPIs, category cards, and charts simultaneously.
