AI Chat Assistant
SOPHIOS includes a built-in conversational AI assistant that answers questions about your operations using your real data. Ask about expenses, crew, budgets, maintenance, or any other aspect of your assets — and get instant, accurate answers.
How to Access
Navigate to the sidebar and select AI > Chat Assistant. The assistant opens in a dedicated panel where you can type questions in natural language.
What Can the Assistant Do?
The assistant has access to 14 read-only tools that query your organization’s data in real time:
Financial Tools

Language Support
The assistant understands and responds in both English and Spanish. You can switch languages at any time — just type your question in the language you prefer.
Privacy & Security
The assistant can only READ your data — it cannot modify invoices, approve payments, or change records. All queries are processed on SOPHIOS private infrastructure. No data is sent to external AI providers.
Your conversation history is stored within your organization’s encrypted database and is only accessible to you.
Tips for Best Results
Be Specific
Instead of “show me expenses,” try “show me fuel expenses for Yacht Aurora in January 2026.”
Use Time Ranges
The assistant understands date references like “last quarter,” “this month,” or “January to March 2026.”
Ask Follow-Up Questions
The assistant maintains context within a conversation, so you can ask follow-ups like “break that down by vendor” or “compare with last year.”
